Recommended Uses: Mega Rubber Roll flooring can be used successfully in commercial weight rooms and as bodybuilding gym flooring. These rolls have even been used in Olympic training facilities to provide a safe, nonslip flooring surface with extreme durability and shock absorption capabilities to protect subfloors from dropped weights. The mega rolls are also a popular choice around ice skating rinks where people may end up walking on the flooring with ice skate blades and in locations such as major league dugouts where metal spikes are commonly used.
Quick Notes:
- The Confetti and Natural colors are made from post-industrial recycled rubber. Confetti typically includes a mix of multiple colors, but the blend and percentage of each color vary with each production run—and in some cases, may consist entirely of neutral tones like grays. Natural is made from standard recycled rubber and whitewall car tires. As a result, color and shade variation is expected in both options.

Installation
When installing rolled rubber flooring, it is recommended that you use an adhesive to prevent the rolls from moving around or sliding apart between adjacent rolls. The most common methods of adhering rubber rolls to the subfloor are:
A: Double-Sided Tape Installation
- First, clean your subfloor so it is free of all dust, dirt, and debris.
- Loose lay your rolls in the room as you would like them to look after a complete installation. Let the rolls relax for 24-48 hours to ensure the proper installation of your new flooring.
- Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
- Make any necessary cuts to the rolls to fit them into the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. We recommend leaving a gap around the rolls roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
- Roll up the rolls at one end of the room. Apply double-sided tape to the floor along the perimeter of each roll.
- Place the rubber rolls back into position on top of the double-sided tape.
B: Glue Installation
- First, clean your subfloor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, and debris. Also, when gluing your flooring down, it is recommended that the subfloor is free of any moisture.
- Loose lay your rolls in the room as you would like them to look after a complete installation. Let the rolls relax for 24-48 hours to ensure the proper installation of your new flooring.
- Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
- Make any necessary cuts to the rolls to fit them into the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. We recommend leaving a gap around the rolls roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
- Roll up the rolls at one end of the room. Spread a light layer of polyurethane adhesive that is 10’ long (maximum) and unroll the flooring into the adhesive 10’ at a time.
- Repeat this step for every 10’ of roll length until the entire roll has been unrolled into its desired position.
- After all of the rolls have been glued down, it is often recommended to use a 100-pound roller on the floor to guarantee good adherence to the subfloor. If a roller is not available, walking on the flooring in small choppy steps may also work.
Maintenance
Keeping your Rubber Rolls clean and looking their best is easy with these simple maintenance tips:
Sweep or vacuum loose debris regularly to prevent buildup and minimize the risk of slips and falls.
For a deeper clean, simply damp mop the rubber rolls with a mild soap and water solution. We recommend using Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
Do not use any solvent or oil-based cleaners like Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy's Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, or similar products. These cleaners can break down the flooring over time and cause damage.
