Installation
Installation Instructions
Preparation:
- Clean the subfloor, ensuring it is free of dirt, dust, grease, or any foreign material.
Tile Installation:
- Start in one corner of the area and work your way out.
- If installing up to a wall, ensure the female side (loops) of the tile is facing away from the wall.
- Place the tiles in a perpendicular pattern and fill the area with whole tiles according to your predetermined size and design.
- For edges or obstacles, measure and cut tiles using a tile cutter or table saw, leaving at least a 3/4" space for expansion and contraction.
- Once all tiles are in place, snap in the edge pieces if purchased.
Game Line Application (for pre-painted kits):
- Use painter's tape or 3M 2060 tape to outline the lines to be painted.
- Apply a two-part polyurethane paint for the game lines.
- Sweep away any loose dust, dirt, or debris from the tiles before painting.
