Installation Instructions
Installing your Outdoor Basketball Court Kit is a straightforward process:
Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the concrete pad or subfloor is clean and free of dirt, dust, grease, or other debris.
Begin Installation: Start in one corner of the area, ensuring that the female side (loops) of the first tile faces away from the wall. This setup will make it easier to interlock the rest of the tiles.
Lay Out the Tiles: Place the tiles in a perpendicular pattern, filling the entire area with whole tiles according to your chosen design.
Trimming for Edges: When you reach the edges, walls, or obstacles, measure the area and cut the tiles to fit using a tile cutter or table saw. Leave a 3/4” gap between the tiles and any walls or court edges to allow for expansion and contraction.
Edge Installation: If you purchased edge pieces, snap them into place after all tiles are laid.
Game Line Application: To paint game lines, use painter's tape or 3M 2060 tape to outline the lines. Apply a two-part polyurethane paint for a durable finish.
