Installation
Installation Instructions
Outdoor Tennis Court Kits are designed for easy installation. Follow these steps:
- Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the subfloor is clean and free of dirt, dust, grease, or other debris.
- Start Installation: Begin in one corner of the court, placing the tiles with the female side (loops) facing away from the wall.
- Tile Placement: Arrange the tiles in a perpendicular pattern, filling the area with whole tiles according to your design.
- Cutting Tiles: For edges, walls, or obstacles, measure and cut the tiles as needed using a tile cutter or table saw. Leave a 3/4” gap between the tiles and the edge of the court or wall for expansion and contraction.
- Edging (Optional): If you've purchased edge pieces, snap them into place once the tiles are laid.
- Game Line Application: Use painter’s tape or 3M 2060 tape to outline the lines. Apply a two-part polyurethane paint for the best results.
