Prepare the Subfloor:
- Clean the Surface: Ensure the subfloor is free of dirt, dust, grease, and other debris for optimal adhesion and fit.
Tile Placement:
- Start Position: Begin installation in the front left corner of the area.
- Align Tiles: Place the tiles with the female side (loops) facing away from the edge. Continue filling in the space from the left edge and adjacent edges with whole tiles.
- Trim as Needed: Measure the space around walls or objects. Use a sharp tile cutter to trim the tiles, leaving a 3/4” gap between the edge of the tiles and any obstructions. Place the trimmed tiles into position.
Final Adjustments:
- Check Fit: Ensure all tiles are securely interlocked and gaps are consistent.
