Installation
Installation Instructions
Installing your Indoor Basketball Vinyl Court Kit is straightforward and typically completed by the customer. Follow these steps for a successful installation:
- Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the subfloor is clean and free of dirt, dust, grease, or any other foreign material.
- Start Installation: Begin in the front left corner of the room, working your way outwards. Ensure the female side (loops) of the tile faces away from the wall.
- Tile Placement: After completing the left wall and the adjacent wall, fill the rest of the room with whole tiles.
- Trimming: When encountering a wall or obstacle, measure the area, cut the tiles with a sharp utility knife, and place the trimmed tiles into position. Leave at least a 1/2” space between the tiles and the wall or obstruction to allow for expansion.
