Recommended Uses:

Rubber Gym Flooring Rolls are an ideal rubber flooring solution offering a desirable non-slip and anti-fatigue surface. These custom-cut rubber rolls are excellent in a variety of locations: home gyms, commercial weight rooms, fitness facilities, under exercise equipment, basement and playroom flooring, pet care facilities, locker room flooring (where spike protection might be needed), and fit nicely over radiant heated floor systems. These versatile rubber flooring rolls are also used as outdoor flooring, providing a safe, nonslip surface on decks, patios, boats, and boat docks. This rubber flooring choice is truly the all-around, do-it-all flooring solution.

1/8" - For use in light-duty areas as an anti-slip or noise control floor (not recommended for gyms).
1/4" - Made for basic home gyms and exercise rooms.
8mm - Very durable for home and commercial gyms.
3/8" - The most common thickness used in commercial gyms.
1/2" - Ultra-durable rubber used in Olympic Weightlifting and designed for extreme use.
3/4" - Industrial-grade rubber used for powerlifting, horse stable & livestock flooring, and more.

Color variations may occur between separate orders. For the best consistency, we recommend ordering all rolls at the same time.

Quick Notes:

The Confetti and Natural colors are made from post-industrial recycled rubber. Confetti typically includes a mix of multiple colors, but the blend and percentage of each color vary with each production run—and in some cases, may consist entirely of neutral tones like grays. Natural is made from standard recycled rubber and whitewall car tires. As a result, color and shade variation is expected in both options.

Installation

When installing rolled rubber flooring, it is important to choose the right installation method for your project. The most common methods of adhering rubber rolls to the subfloor are:

A: Double-Sided Tape Installation

Ensure that the subfloor is clean, dry, and free of any debris.
Loosely lay the rubber rolls in the room to achieve your desired layout. Allow the rolls to relax for 24-48 hours to ensure proper installation.
Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
Cut the rubber rolls to fit the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. Leave a gap around the perimeter roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
Roll up the rubber rolls at one end of the room. Apply double-sided tape to the subfloor along the perimeter of each roll.
Place the rubber rolls back into position on top of the double-sided tape.

B: Glue Installation

Ensure that the subfloor is clean, dry, and free of any debris or moisture.
Loosely lay the rubber rolls in the room to achieve your desired layout. Allow the rolls to relax for 24-48 hours to ensure proper installation.
Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
Cut the rubber rolls to fit the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. Leave a gap around the perimeter roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
Roll up the rubber rolls at one end of the room. Spread a light layer of polyurethane adhesive that is 10 feet long (maximum) and unroll the flooring into the adhesive 10 feet at a time.
Repeat step 5 for every 10 feet of roll length until the entire roll has been unrolled into its desired position.
After all of the rolls have been glued down, it is recommended to use a 100-pound roller on the floor to guarantee good adherence to the subfloor. If a roller is not available, walking on the flooring in small choppy steps may also work.

Maintenance

Keeping your Rubber Rolls clean and looking their best is easy with these simple maintenance tips:

Sweep or vacuum loose debris regularly to prevent buildup and minimize the risk of slips and falls.
For a deeper clean, simply damp mop the rubber rolls with a mild soap and water solution. We recommend using Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
Do not use any solvent or oil-based cleaners like Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy's Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, or similar products. These cleaners can break down the flooring over time and cause damage.
