With effortless mobility provided by a flexible rolling feature, 6' x 42' Cheer Mats are highly durable and extremely easy to setup and store, ideal for multi-purpose venues. These professional-grade tumbling mats feature an extremely durable carpeted top layer flame-laminated over dense cross-linked polyethylene foam, making these the perfect competition-quality cheerleading mats for high schools, colleges, and other athletic institutions. 6' x 42' Cheer Mats are simple to clean and maintain, making them suitable for gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, and much more. Proudly manufactured in the USA, and backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
Please Note: If ordering more than one cheer mat, there may be slight variations in carpet color shade, texture, and nominal size due to the production process. For orders of two mats or more, Velcro strips are included for joining (one per seam). If you need additional Velcro strips when placing another order at a later time, please contact us.
Material: 2.2 lb density Crosslink Polyethylene Foam base bonded to a tough 26oz Needle-Point Carpet top.
Size: 6' x 42' per individual cheer mat.
- For a standard size 42' x 54' Competition Cheer Floor, 9 mats will be needed (hook fasteners included to securely connect multiple mats).
Thickness: 1 3/8” or 2" options.
- 1 3/8" is the most commonly used thickness of mat throughout the cheerleading industry, although 2" thickness will provide desirable enhanced shock absorption.
Weight: 1-3/8" thick mats are approx. 126 Lbs. and 2" thick mats are approx. 157 Lbs.
Rolled Size:
- 6' x 42' x 1 3/8" mats: 32" x 32" x 72".
- 6' x 42' x 2" mats: 41" x 41" x 72".

Installation
With a convenient built-in flex rolling system, these portable and lightweight 6' X 42' Cheer Mats can be quickly rolled out, rolled up, and easily transported and stored, making them suitable to be installed in virtually any room or practice space quickly and without fuss.
- First, simply unravel your cheer mat so it lays flat.
- If you’re using more than one mat, Velcro strips are included with all orders of two or more to allow for joining the mats together. Two or more mats can be arranged to make a larger gymnastics mat area.
Maintenance
6' x 42' Cheer mats are very easy to clean. Each competition quality tumbling mat is constructed of durable closed cross-linked polyethylene sports foam with a durable carpet top.
- If your cheer mats do get something spilled on them or appear dirty, simply blot or wipe the area with a damp cloth or vacuum, and your cheer mat will look like new.
- To avoid lingering dirt or debris, be sure to spot clean and vacuum your mat regularly (at least once a week) if the mat is used on a daily basis.

While most porous surfaces, like carpet, cannot be completely disinfected, the risk of spreading pathogens/microbials can be mitigated by following a regular cleaning/sanitizing schedule. We recommend vacuuming before or after each use, and deep cleaning on a regular basis with a sanitizing solution like Sporicidin® or MediClean® (formerly MicroBan®).
Instructions:
- Clear the mat of all obstructions and debris.
- Vacuum the entire surface of the mat.
- Use a hot water extraction cleaner or “steam” cleaner with a sanitizing solution, or apply with a handheld or electrostatic sprayer and allow carpet to remain damp for recommended time.
- Allow mat to dry fully before using or rolling up for storage.
